Welcome to Studio94

Studio94 offers instruction in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, clogging, cheer, tumbling & pageant training.

It is our goal and desire to instill a love of dance in the hearts of all children of all ages.

Classes offered

Combination Ballet/Tap for 2 yrs thru 3rd grade - 45 minute class
Ballet, Tap, & Jazz for 6 yrs & up - 45 minute class
Hip-Hop for 5 yrs & up - 45 minute class
Clogging for 5yrs & up - 45 minute class
Cheer/Tumbling for 4 yrs & up - 1 hour class
Pageant Trainings for 5 yrs & up - Private 1 hour class
Private Cheer for try-out preparation - 1 hour class

Studio94 focuses on the technique of each style of dance, the individual expression of each style and the simple joy of dance movement.

Fees & Tuition

Yearly enrollment fee due upon registration - $60

Discounts
$50 registration fee for second child, same family (siblings only)
$10 off for second class, same student
$5 off for second child, same family (siblings only)

Recital Fee - $50 due no later than February 1st.
Recital Costume - Payment due no later than March 1st.

Dress Code

Studio94 will be happy to recommend dancewear location & websites for your dancewear.

Ballet & Ballet/Tap Combo

Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes. Tap ties are available for purchase for $5.00. Please no tutus or dance skirts in class.

Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop & Clogging

Comfortable form fitting shorts or dance pants, black tap or jazz shoes, white clogging shoes with buck style taps.. For clogging, you may also purchase buck style taps and glue to "Ked" style sneakers.

Cheer/Tumbling

Comfortable form fitting shorts & athletic type top. Cheer style shoe required.

Hair

Hair MUST be pulled away from the face during class. Students with short hair may pin hair back or wear a headband.

No-Nos!!

No costume type wear, tutus or jeans. Students should arrive for class with proper apparel. Combo students are required to change their own shoes between tap & ballet.

Attendance

Regular attendance is a must, as absences affect the entire class along with the progress of the student. Missed classes may be made up in a comparable class. If class is cancelled by the instructor, a make-up class will be scheduled.

PLEASE BE ON TIME! Late arrival for class disrupts the entire class. If you do arrive late, please allow the instructor the opportunity to invite the student to join the class at an appropriate time.

Arrival/Pick-up

Students should arrive at least 5 minutes prior to their class time and should be picked up no later than 5 minutes after class is dismissed. Siblings may not stay in the facility unsupervised by an adult 18 years or older.

Class Etiquette

An important part of the dance experience is class etiquette. Students should be on their best behavior. Instructors and staff should be addressed by their name preceded by "Miss" or "Mrs.". The use of "Yes, Ma'ams", "No Ma'ams", "Please", & "Thank you" are mandatory.
No running or rough play is allowed, no gum chewing, & no food or drink in class other than water.

Discipline

Studio94 practices the "3 strikes, you're out!" rule. After the third warning, the student will lose their reward sticker which is presented at the end of each class. If bad behavior is unusually extreme, the instructor will inform the parent following class.

Restroom Policy

Students should be reminded to use the restroom prior to arriving to class. However, if a student needs to be excused from class, the parent may be asked to accompany them. If a parent is not present, a staff member will accompany the child if needed. Studio94 practices the NO TOUCH policy for all students.
